Born June 11, 1959 in Baltimore, MD, Ernie Graham was a child prodigy from an early age. His mother and father taught him the value of a good education and strong leadership.

Ernie began his athletic career with Recreation League Basketball at St. Ann's and CE Recreation Centers, where he won countless awards and trophies. After acquiring his foundation of the sport of basketball, Ernie went on to play High School Varsity Basketball for Lake Clifton High School. At Lake Clifton, Ernie won two-MSA Championships 1974-1975 and 1975-1976. Following a transfer to Baltimore's high school basketball powerhouse Dunbar High School, Ernie took Dunbar to the MSA Championship in 1976-1977 and won. Ernie Graham is known for being the only player to go undefeated three strait years, and winning back to back MSA Championships at two different schools.

As a highly recruited senior from Baltimore, Ernie made history at the University of Maryland College Park. At UM 1977-1981, Ernie accomplished the single game scoring record in 1978 with 44 points in 25 minutes of play -- a record that has stood for more than 20 years. He was named ACC 1st and 2nd team all-tournament in two consecutive years. During his reign he won an ACC regular season title, played in the NCAA Tournament three of his four years and the Nit Tournament one year.

After leaving UM, Ernie was drafted in the 3rd round of the professional NBA draft to the Philadelphia 76ers. Ernie opted to compete professionally in the various International Leagues for 13 years including: Europe, South America and Israel to name a few...

Ernie is now working with the Baltimore County Department of Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse in order to provide the acclaimed children's program, Get The Message. Ernie devotes his time and energy touring the school system spreading his message encouraging youth to be drug free.
